Shortcuts do not always work in forms, especially email entry

I use my iPad Mini (iOS 8.0)and when I am asked to fill out my email, I use my saved shortcuts to save time. Many times the form doesn't accept my email shortcut despite it being correct. I have to go to that form and erase at least the last letter and manually re-enter it and than it works.

In other cases not even this step works and I need to enter the whole email manually.

I use 3 keyboards : English, Swedish, Czech

Does it have anything to do with the keyboards??

Does anyone know why this happens?

What is the remedy ?

I read there are some issues with lost shortcuts after updating to iOS 8. Some said a Hard Reset brought them back you can try that and see if it works
