Why don't I see a download button when trying to download apps on my iPad?

New to I pad and want to download some apps from the app store or iTunes , but when I go to either store and pick an app I cannot see any download button, it just tells me the reviews, all about the app and the development app etc no download. What am I doing wrong?

it won't say download- it will either say free or have a price- click that and then you will see install and click again. You will be prompted to enter your apple ID and password- Good Luck and enjoy your new iPad
