delete a photo album on iphone 5

hello i have a photo album on my phone that is from my imac computer. when i click on edit on my phone to delete it there is no red dot giving me the option to delete it. since this is not happening and i need to delete this album what do i do next

Have you tried deleting them via iTunes?

UGH i hate that we can manage the photo albums only through the iTunes. This is so annoying sometimes. But yeah, unfortunately this is the only way.
