Screen went black, and iPhone now it vibrates every couple seconds on the charger

No drops, falls, or spills. Also no water damage. Went to go use my iPhone and the screen is completely black. I know the phone is on (vibration and such), but it will not display anything.

When on the charger the device vibrates every other second, or emits a strange beep at the same intervals.

Any ideas?

Do the following:
1. Press and hold both the power and home buttons until you see the Apple logo. (No more than 10 seconds)

2. If you're certain the phone is charged and the above didn't work, make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store.
