How did Chrome end up in my device's Control Center?

Not sure how Chrome shortcut got listed in my iPhone's Control Center. Was it always there or did the update to Chrome place the link in the Control Center? Just wondering.

The media controls in Control center in iOS 7.1.X will say the app name that last played audio or video and if you tap the name it will open that app.
