Discontinued IPhone 5

okay so my iPhone 5 got extremely damaged due to a fall . I have the tmobile jump/assurant insurance. i wanted to know if anybody recently filed a claim for the iPhone 5 and got an iPhone 5 back or got a newer model (5C/5S) being that the iPhone 5 is "discontinued"

If they replace your phone because of a legit claim you can bet you will get another iPhone 5 back more than likely a refurb which is just as good as new.

You'll get an iPhone5. There's still plenty of them around for situations like yours.

More than likely you'll get a 5 but if you file online you can see what they'll send you before you actually submit the claim.

Aside from the cost, Assurion is pretty awesome sometimes. My OG Evo died on me & I received and Evo 3D as my replacement.
