# of emails in my inbox IOS 7

I upgraded to IOS 7 and am delighted with the features only to discover a dismay.... the email boxes no longer indicate how many emails I have in each inbox or in my consolidated email box?
Anyone knows how to bring back this wonderful IOS 6 feature ?

It only shows unread. Mine works.

yes as you know there is a difference between READING and DEALING with an email I guess this is how it is now designed - just wanted to verify there is no recourse.
