After owning my original Apple Watch for two years. I was clumsy today and it took a nose dive into the tiles on my floor. Luckily my wife bought AppleCare so I’ve still got warranty until December 5. I’m taking it in tomorrow to see how much it’s going to cost to get a replacement. Now for pictures of the carnage

It should cost 70 bucks. I did the same, only worse, with no Apple care. I upgraded to a series 3 and sold the broken one on eBay for 50 bucks.

I accidentally dropped mine in the driveway and ran over it. Same situation, my apple care is until 12/31/17. Cost me $70, but will probably be a given as a gift when I upgrade

Cringe...this is why I have AppleCare and would probably justify upgrading my S2 to a S3 if that happened to me.

I don’t want to jinx myself but I have had all three of the Apple Watches and have not put a ding in any of them. I did put a case on my new series 3 though.

I had a case on mine but took it off because it was too bulky. I thought it’s on my wrist nothing will happen HA!

My heart hurts...and I’m hugging mine way tighter. Lol.

I felt exactly the same way! When putting on the knock-off Sport band, it doesn't pop in quite as easily as the Apple Sport bands. I've noted a couple of times that it wasn't secured. (For quick checks, I put it on but don't tuck in the end of the strap.)

Now I visually check those straps and tuck in the flap unless I'm taking the Watch off immediately.

I found a guy on eBay selling 3 OEM (used) apple sport bands for 20 bucks.

OK hit the Apple store and the replacement is being sent. I strapped on a regular watch because now when I need the time. I automatically look at my wrist. My 4 year old says “this doesn’t do anything”

As bad as that watch looks, I hope you're okay!
