So, I currently take a bunch of notes for work. I just got picked to attend USN Flight School (I'm USCG) and I want to find a good stylus to take notes with. I'm flexible on what app I use. I currently use either  notes or Evernote/Penultimate. I've been looking at the Jot Dash/Script/Touch. I won't be drawing at all and if I do it will just be diagrams.

I assume the  pencil won't work at all on the air 2? I didn't see anywhere on  site that is compatible.

Thanks for the replies and opinions.

Congratulations! Unfortunately pencil is only compatible with the iPad Pro. If you want to stick with the iPad Air 2 just get yourself a nice stylus. I prefer pens with smaller drawing tips because I feel like they're more accurate. Adonit makes some really nice stylus pens.

I recommend the Adonit Jot Pro. I've been using it for a couple of years now and use one while at work. It's comfortable to write with and feel like you're using a pen.
