Why my trash can won't activate for some of my pictures?

When I go to my moments on some I can get it to work only if there are a few pictures, but when there's a lot of pictures my trash won't activate.

If the folders and pics were created on your computer and then synced to your device then the only way to delete is to delete from your computer and then re-sync
