why does it take 12 hours or so to charge my phone

I recently bought an iphone model MD146LL/A and it takes forever to charge completely and doesn't show on the screen when it is charging

Try a different outlet and or a different charging cable and block

If you don't see it charging it's properly being interrupted during the cycle hence the long charging time
