Screen Dimness?

I've had my 15 PM a few days and I find myself wanting a brighter screen. I'm coming from the 14 PM and I feel like I have to keep my 15 PM at max brightness to compare.

Has anyone else noticed this? I feel that the screen is just darker in general...

If you feel it is too dim probably should contact Apple support and get it replaced before the 14 day period is over.

Did you try a Hard Reset? (Reboot). That worked for someone else. If that doesn't work, try Reset All Settings.

I have mine almost set to the middle and it is bright enough for me. I just got mine delivered yesterday. My speaker on the 15 pro is better/louder than the 14 pro. Sound is better. I always thought my 14 pro was most likely defective but nothing was ever found. I just hope when they receive it they find nothing wrong with it.

The screen brightness on my iPhone 15 Pro Max feels on par with my iPhone 11 Pro, which is more than sufficient for my needs.

I keep my brightness on high all the time due to my age and a recent stroke.

Interesting, I keep the brightness on my old XS at just under half. It is way, way too bright at full. Someone who knows better might be able to say if it is a white point problem. Also it would be as well to remember if you use your phone while charging it will charge a lot slower than if you had a halfway setting !
It occurs to me that this might be the result of using parts that use less and less power, to squeeze longevity out of underpowered batteries. I await the "apple is perfect" comments !
