I have an iPhone4 16gb on 4.1, jailbroken, locked to rogers.

Every now and then, my phone, regardless of what the side switch is set on, vibrates for less than a second. Happens usually once or twice a day, sometimes as much as 5 times in a few hours.

Every time it does this, I check various apps that are backgrounded, to see if maybe the phone is trying to tell me that something has happened like a post on FaceBook or a message on eBuddy, but nothing is ever waiting for me.

Any idea what this could be? It only ever happens when its plugged in, charging or at full charge running on USB power, never when its unplugged. It even happens if its plugged into a device like my car, or a non-charging iPod speaker dock.

This happened to me today as well! I was in an interview and twice there were instances where my Rogers locked 32GB iPhone 4 (4.1, limera1n jb, lockinfo, bitesms, springflash, call counter and sms counter are only resident processes) vibrated for milliseconds multiple times. Meaning within about 10 seconds, the phone vibrated about 3 times for very very short durations.

I have idea why this happened. It wasn't phantom syndrome, I get that all the time. The phone was fully pressed into my leg and I felt it completely...

Weird.

Haven't been able to replicate it with squeezes or network changes (suggested from another forum). I also have a perfectly working vibrate switch. And we all know the iPhone 4's is much more stiff and robust than previous gens.
