Question about iPhone 5c

I have a iPhone 5c, I want to use my iPhone 5c to play mkv from my PC, How should I do?

I have heard good things about GoodPlayer (no pun intended), and it allows you to stream those MKVs from a Mac, using an app like MediaShare. Not sure if Mediashare supports PC or not though...
