Official iPhone 4S order tracking thread

Pre-ordered mine on Friday at 6am PT at apple's website, a black 32gb for Sprint upgrade line.

Scheduled delivery for the 14. No tracking # yet. Last order status: Preparing for Shipment

I'm with sprint and it still says prepared for shipping, I bought it through apple friday afternoon, I'm getting nervous because I haven't gotten my tracking number... or any shipping notice!

I just got my shipping confirmation this evening. It shipped out of China. As of now, it says it's in Anchorage, Alaska. Delivery is scheduled for Friday the 14th.

I am thinking that those that order through the cell phone companies (Verizon, AT&T and Sprint) will see their tracking or notice of shipment by Wednesday once the companies receive the phones from Apple. My guess is that the cell phone companies' iPhone are in the big shipment with all of ours; the ones people order through Apple. This would mean we all get our phones on Friday, assuming you ordered in time to be included in the first shipment.

I have no inside information, this is just what I think will happen going by what others are saying about their status. Do not quote me on this

FYI. On at&t's website they have the Iphone4S available for pre-order that says in red shipping in 21-28days. I'm just going to stand in line for hours on release day. Who wants to wait 4 weeks, lol.
