Not all messages transferring between devices

Hello,
I have an iPhone 4 and an iPad 2 3G
only some of my imessages seem to be synching between the devices? I mainly use my iPhone but only some messages go across to the iPad. any ideas?

As for your question, what you are experiencing is on-going for some members, and it often occurs when one device is offline or not connected to the Internet.
