I am DAMN glad I had my Speck on last night. This phone is so light that when I set it down on my nightstand thing, it slid right off and fell into my plastic (empty) trashcan! I actually almost had a heart attack. I went on a full blown inspection spree.

Just reading that makes me nervous lol. My Apple 5s leather case is coming tomorrow. I've got AppleCare+ as well just incase the case doesn't hold up in battle lol.

I bought a speck case but took it off yesterday and haven't been using a case today. I love the way it looks without a case but I am too nervous to go without it for long. I need to get a screen protector and put it in the case because I am hoping to find someone interested in switching phones with me and I would hate to scratch it or anything..,

How's the outer layer feel??? Same as the one for the 5? I just ordered yesterday. Also how is the screen protector?

Added a Spigen Tough Armor with glas.t slim. Silver case and the space grey look amazing and without all the bulk like the defender case

How is the glas.t.slim working with the TouchID? I've had Zaggs in the past and never really liked them. Going without right now, but if this works I am thinking of getting it. Thanks.

I cannot speak for karmarule, but I don't like screen protectors because they always feel sticky to me and my fingers don't slide as easily as they do on the glass. However I have not tried the thin glass screen protectors that you can get now.

Yup, same for me. I prefer the feel of the bare screen, and the couple times I've tried them they seem very noticeable at certain angles and lighting situations.

I got two of the Zoogue cases below and just had to pay shipping. They had a code last week that made them free. $6 for shipping. Actually like the cases. Don't add a lot of bulk and provides the protection I want. I was going to get an Apple leather case but couldn't pass up the savings.

I just got the Apple leather case yesterday. I have been caseless for a year with my white iPhone 5, and it was all scratched. I must say the leather case is the nicest I have had (and I have a lot of case that always come off within 1 day). I like the feel of it very much. I will see how the leather ages, but so far I love it.

Didn't have a case on my 4s, and I don't intend to use one when I upgrade to a 5s. I just love the feel of a naked iphone gripped in my hand.

Yes, I have dropped it a few times. But apart from a small chip on the side and a dent on the antennae, it's perfectly fine. It's a risk I will gladly live with.

I only take my phone out of my case at home for a few minutes just to admire the thin sleek design. As soon as I'm done with the phone I place it back in the case. My phone is in emaculate condition. Thanks to the Leather case from apple

I really like the lighter gray color so I went with no case. I did go with a screen protector front and back because I want to keep it nice for a while. I'm sure eventually I'll peel both off and just rock the phone naked.

The Elago is perfect. Most people don't think I'm using a case on my black iPhone 5. I have been thinking about the red Apple leather case but I'm wondering if I'll eventually end up back on the Elago! And only $10!

Elago makes great slim cases. I used to have the indigo for my white iPhone 5 and it looked sweet. I like that the headphone jack and the buttons and switches are easily accessible. Plus the price is awesome.

I've tried but i find that i tend to fumble it and be discomforted with such a skinny phone with my big hands. gotta case it up so my hands have something to grip.
