iPhone 4S Shutting off

I had to replace my 4S at the Apple Store because the power button went bad. Now the replacement will completely shut off by itself and I have to press the power + home button to cut it back on. Why's it doing that? Battery was at 88% so it wasn't dead or anything.

Sounds like you might need to go back to the Apple store. Have them check it out.

If the replacement is bad. Keep going back until it's right. I got a then new Macbook Pro that way. You may end up with a iPhone 5

I'm having the same issue with my ip5, but in my case seems to be a software issue, it's only happened a couple of times.

Think ill be going back to the Apple Store then. My warranty isn't close to being up. I just want a working phone.
