You are not alone. Looks like we'll just have to wait and see what Apple does to fix it. Its a pretty universal issue among all iOS devices on iOS 7. I'm sure iOS 7.1 will address such issues

Aren't we on that update? Or am I missing something? (are we on 7.0.2 or...??)

Since I updated my 4S to iOS 7.0.2 last week my battery life has improved.
