Thank you, sir. (Alli, please take note.) That said, it is a sad platform on which to run.

I am sad that the popular press (e.g., David Pogue) have taken the AT&T bait (small price reduction on the first bit) without even noticing the hooks (huge premium on the last bit and huge premium on an (any that it chooses) application).

Please consider adopting my signature line.

No iPad tethering for the foreseeable future. Another reason not to get an ipad... :(
No tethering of iPads via an un-JB iPhone. No problem tethering an iPad via a MiFi, Palm Treo or Pre. or any other device that looks like a wireless access point. Of course, that is the reason that AT&T/iPhone tethering does not work that way.

Of course, at the price that AT&T charges for tethering via the iPhone, why would anyone want to do that. There are an infinite number of cheaper ways to connect an iPad, or almost anything else for that matter, to the Internet.

Is their a way to tether an ipad to an iphone without jailbreaking the iphone?
