iPad 2 Video chatting

Whenever I video chat (so far using facetime or via google hangout) I have no audio. The person on the other end can see and hear me, and I can see them, but just can't hear them. I assume this is a setting somewhere, can anyone tell me where?

I've only tried it twice (once w/ google hangout, once w/ facetime), need to test it out more.

It should work as long as your mutes off and the sound is up and they have a microphone and it's on.

I assume your speaker works for other things ? Just make sure your volume is up .. Try turning it up after the call is connected
