How do I know if a re-sent message was delivered?

Hi,
I was trying to send a picture message to somebody (not an Iphone user). Initially I got back the "did not send" message, then tried again. It doesn't say delivered or anything on it. How do I know if it failed to send again?

Welcome to iMore! If there's nothing to indicate it was not sent, it most likely was. The blue line at the top is an indication.
