How do I disable the mail app?

I have just installed outlook on my iphone 6 and need to disable the mail app - how do i do this to avoid having two mail boxes

You can disable the stock mail app for your Outlook by going to Settings >Mail, Contacts and Calendars > Outlook account > toggle Mail off.


But it doesn't hurt anything to leave it on.
