How do I disable parked car notifications?

I found several websites that say to go to settings, maps, “show parked car location”, and toggle it off.
Problem is that “parked car location” is not there. There is no such setting on my phone. No mention of anything for a car in my settings-maps.
I have iOS 15.1.1 with iPhone 12 Pro Max

I checked on my iPhone and found the option to toggle off “show parked car location”.

I realize this isn’t helpful but I am doing some sleuthing and will post if I find anything.

Restart your iPhone to see if the option appears or update the iOS to the newest official release.

SO next time you're in the car and your iPhone is connected, trying going back to settings>maps> and look for "show parked car location". Hopefully you'll then see it and can toggle it off.

Ok, it’s not just my phone. I just looked at my wife’s 13pro and that setting isn’t on her phone either. She has Bluetooth and a car too.

When you get the alert, what does it state specifically?

I don’t recall exact wording but it says that it recorded my parking location. It is from the maps app.

Understood. I’ve had the “Show Parked Location” setting enabled for quite some time and I use it quite a bit to locate my car when at a mall or an event’s parking area. With that being said, I haven’t gotten an “alert” about it in quite sone time.

It’s driving me crazy that you are not seeing the aforementioned setting in your iPhone and on your wife’s iPhone. Granted, I’m on a beta build year round.

I’ll keep looking through my settings and tweaking things here and there to see if I can at least get an alert in regard to my parked car.

I don’t get the alert every time I park. Seems just random.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro on iOS 15.2 and I don't have that setting either. I'm in the US. I do use CarPlay and Bluetooth in my truck. I typically don't use Apple Maps but I occasionally get the "Vehicle Parked" pop up notification too. Doesn't bother me though.

Found it. If the “Significant Locations” settings is disabled on the iPhone then the option “Show Parked Location” will not be visible in the settings.

If you go to Settings → Privacy → Locations Services → System Settings → Significant Locations and turn on “Significant Locations”then the “Show Parked Location” option will be visible in the Maps settings after you’ve connected to CarPlay/ vehicle’s Bluetooth system, you’ve turned off the car and have exited the vehicle.
