Gowalla for iPad..

I really wish foursquare had a iPad app. I tried gowalla for iPad and was extremely confused. I don't see where I can check-in, comment on places, or add friends. Seems like the iPhone app is better. Thoughts?

Me too. Really, I am been frustrated recently with Gowalla's iPhone app; it seems to be lost and can never find my location.

The iPad app is read only so I don't see the point, and the iPhone version can't find me either chadman.

Good news is Gowalla just updated both of their iPhone OS applications and are dramatically better in terms of speed and responsiveness.
