Downgrade 4.0 to...

Is it possible to downgrade from 4.0 to i guess any other firmware? I have a 3g that is unlocked so I can use T-mobile and i heard 3.1.3 is unlockable. Please help 4.0 is draining my battery and is terribly slow.

yeah last night i downgraded to 3.1.3 and works so much better its a lil complicated but i can help out... I used Downgrade iPhone 3G OS 4.0 to 3.1.3 or lower | jailbreak for downgrading to 3.1.3, and then YouTube - How To Jailbreak 3.1.3 Firmware on iPod Touch 1g, 2g & iPhone 1g, 3G - RedSn0w to jailbreak it... Good luck!

i'm getting to the bit where u shift and restore. but which file do i select and how do i do it? any idea's?

you should select the 3.1.3ipsw file then it will run and get an error which is normal so you know.
