Deleted photos and don't have an iTunes back up

[iMore Question]

I bought a new phone, took lots of sentimental photos. Didn't back the new iPhone on iCloud or iTunes and then restored the phone from an old back up not realising all my photos on the new phone will get deleted. I have used various softwares to get them back but only photos deleted from the old phone are found not the new photos from the new phone. Is there any way to get them back please help!!!!New phone is an iPhone 6s

If the photos weren't backed up or synced via iCloud then the answer is "no".
