Blocking numbers doesn't work?

I just had some calls from someone I have no clue who they are. I blocked them on my phone and they still can send texts which go to my watch. I go on my phone and under that number it says only option is to unblock. So clearly it is blocked. Why are the texts still go thru to my watch?

Go to the watch app on your phone. Scroll down to messages and check if messages is set to mirror my iPhone.

Yep that was the issue. Kind of odd how something like blocking doesn't just carry across both devices.
