Which does everyone use or recommend anker or Apple USB-C chargers? I use a Belkin iPhone/watch charger, but when I’m on vacation, which should I use. I recently got me Apple Watch eight and didn’t realize it’s USB-C and not lightning port cord

I use the Apple USB type C adapter, or straight up the USB type C port where available (e.g.: in my car or screen).

If I don't have a USB type C on hand, I will use the older USB type A cable with my device (e.g.: at school or work).

I have a little bit of everything. I have Apple chargers, I have Anker chargers, I have a Spigen charger and a I have a Belkin charger. All are perfectly fine. When I buy a new charger, I make sure it's an Apple "MFI Certified" charger. "This certification is only for accessories that Apple has verified as safe for their products. (source link)

is wattage, mainly how fast something changes. If you are charging something overnight, it doesn’t really matter does it?

No, it doesn’t matter. In fact, it will probably be better for the phone to charge it slowly. Less heat is created that way and the battery will appreciate that.

I don’t buy non-Apple chargers. My only non-Apple charger is the one in the car.

I am with you on this Tartarus. There are good non Apple chargers/accessories but my experience has been hit and miss. So I keep it simple and just buy Apple (no misses on those purchases).

I’m the same way. I only buy Apple chargers.

In this case I believe Anker has a good reputation, but in my IT director realm we deal with chargers and batteries at scale where I have never seen first tier chargers smoke, fail or wreck a device as others have so I consider it an important matter. At one point I recall some tear apart test for chargers where some were indeed made better than others.

Confession: I was just looking at some Apple and non-Apple chargers as a tangent from some new devices and my Windows as well as MacBook able to charge via USB-C. I would have some trust in what Apple sells, some Anker looked attractive, but so does the very compact new charger Apple makes.

Well said.
I've never heard anyone say their Anker product was bad. Though I have never bought one of their products, I would now probably go with Anker if I was going the non Apple route. I bought an inexpensive no name Amazon 3 way QI charger stand and an Apple Watch band. Saved quite a bit of money on price but both had issues too quickly (the watch band broke in about 4 or so months. That just doesn't work for me so I just pay extra for the Apple brand. I'm paying extra for the certainty of the product, to buy it once knowing it should be issue free and good for a long time.
