why not just try? I had the same problem, except the other way around. LimeRa1n didn't work, yet Greenpois0n did. I am however on iPhone 4, but i doubt it matters.

Do a fresh restore, if that doesn't help take it to apple. If you take it to apple, before you do a fresh restore or update to latest ios, they will simply restore/update for you and tell you to try it out for a couple days. Saves yourself the time and just restore then take it in, 9 times out...

Can you not use a blank Phonebook sim? I remember reading something a few months ago that you can activate an iPhone with a blank one...

Maybe try posting in one of the "Cydia Support" Forums on other websites, sure your not the first one with this issue.

I don't know what it is, but I have never liked any of the Otterbox cases; not only for the iPhone bu all devices. Reminds me if you were to wrap your phone in play dough...don't know why, just does.

If you buy some sim cutters, you get an adapter. I paid $4 or so for mine and got 5 adapters. Great investment

I opened the back of mine to replace the back, then a week later had a couple dead pixels. So simply put the original back glass on the back and they swapped it for me no question. There is no tape or anything to tell is the back has been opened.
