Help - iTunes 10.7

Hopefully someone will be able to help me. If I click on "Help" and then click "Check for Updates" iTunes checks and asks me if I want download the new version of iTunes (10.7). I then click "Download iTunes" and nothing dowloads.

I have Windows 7 with iTunes 10.6.3.25

Go to Apple - iTunes - Everything you need to be entertained. and just download it. Then install the version that you just downloaded... looks like the update function is disabled or just wonky until Tuesday when it will be required to install iOS 6.
