Familysharing

Little confused by this one. I set up the iPad as a family iPad and gave it family sharing access to all my apps on my main account.

The problem is I don't see the selection on the pad as to what the master account already bought.

I did everything the website said to include signing in and out and it says it is linked to the master account, but I'm still scared since it has $$ next to the apps still. You think it would have the little cloud or something.

Hello! Go to App Store > Purchases, then click on "my purchases" at the top left corner of the screen. From there you should be able to view family members' purchases and download onto any device included in Family Share.

Yeah, nothing is showing there. But it says it's linked to my master account. It's very confusing

Interesting. I might suggest hard resetting all devices. To perform a hard reset, hold both the power button and home button down until you see the Apple boot logo. It may also just be taking some time for the purchases to show up on your other devices. Just guessing.

Tried and soft and hard boot. I'm updating the Pad's software from 9.0.1 to 9.0.2 to see if that does anything ... Not optimistic.

Thing is I can see a separate area to look at purchases on my master device, just not my iPad (secondary account)

You never know what might kick things into gear for you. Again, it could just be a delay in populating purchases from other devices.

If I come up with anything else I'll let you know.
