iPhone finder app

I'm always misplacing my iPhone - usually in my house, under a chair, in my bag, under something, etc.
When this happens, I call my iPhone and find it by following my ringtone. However, many times my phone is set to "silent," and I cannot use my usual method of finding it.
Is there an application that can surpass the silent setting when I can't find my phone? I.e. an app using a desktop component that I can make my phone make noise even when it's on silent

I know this is a long shot, but there seems to be so many apps out there. Thanks!

Actually, iHound can do this, as well as tracking your iPhone if it's lost or stolen. You can set off the alarm via your pc, and it is loud.

No, unfortunately that's not one of the things Apple is allowing yet.
