Anyone try Airplane mode?

Reading about airplane mode crippling IPhones. I'm about to take off. Anyone uses it without an issue?

IPhone 7 or 7 plus. Supposedly it's a bug.

I read about that this morning. I haven't tried it. I almost never put my phone in airplane mode --- except when i'm on an airplane.

Supposedly on some phones when airplane mode turns off cellular service it won't turn it back on when you turn airplane mode off.

Edit. Nvm I googled after I posted lol. I should try this tonight and head to Apple Store if it happens i guess.

I curious to know if it's GSM devices/networks or CDMA/PCS-LTE networks

Just tried on my AT&T version and still good to go

No issues for me. Been in airplane mode and it came out no problem.

Ok just tried it. Was a little scared lol. It it came back to normally immediately after switching it off. Good to know.

I tried mine as I'm trying to decide if I'm sending mine back or not. Worked fine for me
