iMessage problem

When I try to send a message to some of my contacts the message will be at 90% and will hang there never sending the message.

This problem started after I updated to iOS 8.2. Any suggestions?

Is it with everything or pics. I had that issue and logged out of iMessage and rebooted and signed back in.

Everything. But only to some contacts

What have you tried to fix the problem?

Where you are makes a difference with iMessage, especially with sending photos. For example, it doesn't work well in metal buildings. If you get the red "not sent" message, you might try Reset Network Settings.
Settings>General>Reset>Tap Reset Network Settings. You may need to enter your wifi passcode back in afterwards.
