iPhone 5s won't connect to my computer/iTunes, how can I fix this?

I have an iPhone 5s with iOS 9.0.2 and the latest version of iTunes on Windows 10. When I plug in my iPhone to the computer it will start to charge but it will not show up on the computer or in iTunes. I know the cable and iTunes are working correctly because I tried my friend's iPhone 6s and it worked perfectly. Are there any ways to make my iPhone connect?

Make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store and have them diagnose the problem for you. It may be something as simple as a reboot or resetting all settings.

Check your control panel and make sure you have iTunes allowed.
