iPhone 5 activation is asking for SIM ICCID # Options

Will I have to extract the SIM from the iPhone to get this info?

This was an upgrade to an existing line, The box that I just reveived from ATT/Apple has just the iPhone in it. I'm assuming that the SIM is already installed in the phone.

And how are you activating it?

By going to a ATT activation web site and entering the information:

Activate Wireless Device Online - AT&T BusinessDirect?| Premier Business Center

Are you on a computer? You can just connect the phone to iTunes.

I have the new phone connected to iTunes. I registered it and restored from the last backup of my 3Gs (that I'm replacing with the iPhone5).
The restore is in process (it takes a while to copy that many apps over).

Will the initialization of the phone+SIM take place from inside iTunes?

Note that I purchased the device from ATT's web site (not Apple's).

If the sim doesn't activate after being connected to iTunes then you'll just need to take the steps
that you were already taking from the website.
