Bookmarking

I have Safari and Mozilla both on my iPhone 4S. Mozilla is synched with my laptop. I cannot bookmark anything on my iPhone. Ultimately, I want to bookmark a page in Mozilla and then creating a icon that I can place on my iPhone. But I cannot 1.) create bookmarks, and 2.) cannot figure out how to make a icon out of a bookmark.

I have researched this on several sites. Each say to simply select the "+" to create a bookmark. However, there is no "+" in my browser on the iPhone.

In Safari you can press the icon that is a rectangle with an arrow coming out of it and then select the option to add to home screen

Thanks. But I am using Firefox. I also want to know how to make a bookmark into an icon.
