Today I went into Verizon to pick up a 16 Gb White 4s because the lady in the store had let me know she had 2 left. I guess I arrived too late and they had sold the 2 devices. Anyway, I told the lady to order the 16 Gb and have it shipped to my house on the 28th. After I had paid for the order, I decided that I should have went for the 32 Gb (which they had in stock). I asked her if I could cancel the order for the 16 Gb and just take home the 32 Gb today. Her response--your order is too deep into Apple's servers and I cannot pull it back and cancel it, you will have to wait until your 16 Gb arrives and then do an exchange.
I thought cancelling an order would be relatively easy? Has anyone ran into this--Verizon cannot cancel an order after it has been placed? Any help would be appreciated!
