Migrating to 4S from 4 (jailbroken)

What is the latest and smoothest path to get my data to my new phone?
I will set up my new phone as new. Don't want to restore as I am worried about any old Jailbreak stuff mucking up my new phone.

I sync my calendar and contacts with Google so I am covered there.

What about my apps and data though? Should I put ios5 on my 4 and put my apps in the icloud? Then when I get my 4S let it pull down my app data? or just do it on my laptop/itunes manually? What else am I missing?

You could just do it the old fashion way and make a back up and restore it. You're jailbreak won't muck anything up with you're new phone.
