Iphone 4 and Outlook sync

Hello everyone,

I noticed that when I plug in my iP4 and sync it, it only seems to sync one way. I.e. only info from outlook gets into my phone, and not the other way around.

Thus, I am always left with out of date information.

I used to have a blackberry which would give me the option to synch from phone to oulook, vice versa, or a two way sync.

How can I sync outlook this way so that it only updates itself from my phone?

Or should I just get a google account and use google sync?

I got several, but the only one I added to my BB is my hotmail account.

Sync the email to the iPhone not outlook. Outlook is a client like the iPhone not a provider. The iPhone supports native push on Hotmail. So as soon as you enter your account info everything will push and all your contacts will arrive as well. Do the same for the other emails.

It's not the email that I'm worried about. When I sync my iphone, for contacts, calendar etc. it syns using Outlook. But for some reason Outlook overrides my phone.

I would leave Outlook behind and just use a Gmail account. However, if you insist on transferring your iPhone contacts to our Outlook, have a look at this thread: Sync iPhone contacts to PC

Also, according to this, Outlook sync with iTunes indeed only works one way.
