I've been putting up for awhile now, with a strange but small dark patch on the bottom right of my iPhone 4's retina display.
This is NOT the known yellow taint that plagued screens when the iPhone 4 released, this is a permanent dull patch.
It's almost like the backlight isn't as bright in that particular small spot. It's most notable on lighter displays like reading a book in iBooks.
I'm tempted to book it into the Genius bar. However, I purchased this iPhone 4 outright, the full ?600. I'm sure they will offer me a replacement, but I can almost guarantee it'll be a refurbished unit. Where do I stand? I don't really want a refurb, considering I paid a lot of money for this unit, it doesn't seem right getting a refurb in it's place.
Has anyone else had this screen issue?
