Rich text formatting

I remember reading (not sure what os) that notes and email would have rich text formatting, so we would be able to change text to bold, underlined and even different colours, is this in ios 6 or was this never implemented?

I don't know about colors, but rich text formatting works fine in email, but not notes.

Colors would be cool. Wish that Apple made the notes and tasks more feature filled. I like that they "Just Work" but would be just that much better with a little more functionality.
