When I went to sync on google for my calendar it will not let me check my gmail acct,.

My calendar shows up on my google acct and also my Iphone but not my Ipad. Actually the present month does but not the previous months. I just tried to sync using your instructions but it won't let me check my gmail acct

Welcome to iMore! On the calendar only showing 1 month on the iPad, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts and Calendar > scroll down to Calendars> set sync dates

On the Gmail issue, I'm not sure what you refer to when you say it won't let you check it.
