Email on my IPhone 6+

I have an IPhone 6+ with Verizon as carrier. Whenever I get an email through Yahoo, is loads to the inbox, but immediately, before I get to read it, goes to trash. I have missed a lot of emails this way. This does not happen with G-Mail. How do I fix this, I can't find anything in settings that helps.

Do you have a filter set up to do that? I have Yahoo email configured on my devices and have had it that way for years, and I've never had that happen with the exception of when I set up filters for spam mail.
