How do you reset your list of missed calls?

The number of missed calls pinned to the Phone icon does not always reset after I have check missed calls and voice mail. How do you get it to reset?

Welcome to iMore! Try this and see if it helps:

1. Tap the phone icon
2. Look for "recents" at the bottom of the screen and tap it
3. Tap "Edit" at the top of your screen
4. You will see a list of calls. Tap the red circle next to the missed calls you want to delete
5. a "red delete" button will appear on the right
6. Tap the delete button and your missed call will be deleted.
7. Click "Done" after you have deleted the calls you want to be rid of.
