Syncing phone to desktop calender

I have a Iphone 6 and when I put meetings into my phone, they do not transfer to my desktop calendar when I plug in the phone.

Do you have an iCloud account? If so, is that account configured on your desktop computer? If so, make sure that both devices are connected to the Internet or are at least on the same Wi-Fi network. If they are not, your data will not sync until they are.

More details please? What are you using for your desktop calendar? Are you using a Windows, Mac, or something else? Are you trying to specifically sync via USB or a live mirror via the internet?

Are you an iCloud or Google user?
