why cant see my apps when I double click

I have an i phone 6 and is updating is up to date. My home button works with single click and triple click but not double

I still don't know what it is you specifically are asking of us. Can you be a bit more clearer, please? In regard to seeing your apps, all you have to do is unlock the lock screen and then scroll through your home screens. All of your installed apps should be in plain view.

Sounds to me like he is referring to his app switcher not working.

OP I would try resetting your phone by holding down the power and home button until the apple logo appears.
