I just setup my new MAC Studio, M2 MAX.
I'm trying to setup the Touch ID which is supported by the new keyboard.
i go into systems setting and Touch ID when I hit add fingerprint the dialogue
box comes up and I double click the Mac's power button as instructed but nothing happens.

The Studio is running MACOS Ventura 13.4 which was update during installation process.

I talked to Apple Support and they want me to reinstall Ventura but before I do that I thought I would
ask around for any ideas.

So any ideas?

Touch ID now works. The problem was that when the instruction states double click the power button you have to make the clicks a lot fast than what I was doing. I found the solution from a Google search and someone had the same problem. So a word to the wise, when it says to double click the power button quickly you need to be extremely fast.

Touch ID now works fine.
