Why is my iPhone 6 no longer vibrating?

I am running iOS 8.0.2 on my iPhone 6 and have just noticed that my phone will no longer vibrate even when the sound has been muted. And yes, I have the vibrate settings turned on; I have tried everything that I can possibly think of. Suggestions?

If you have gone to Settings - Sounds and have enabled both "Vibrate on Ring" and "Vibrate on Silent", then do any of the following:

1. Reboot your device.
2. Go to Settings - General - Reset and then select "Reset All Settings".
3. Restore your device and set it up as new.
4. Make a genius bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose the problem.
